LSZH, or Low Smoke Zero Halogen, is a wire sheathing material used in the wire and cable industry that is characterized by low smoke emission when heated or burned and is halogen-free. Cables made of this material do not release hydrogen halide or other acids when they catch fire, thus reducing the amount of toxic and corrosive gases produced during combustion.

In the selection of wires and cables, LSZH materials are often used in the manufacture of jackets and insulation to ensure that the cables do not become a source of toxic fumes and gases in the event of a fire.
