TPE is a polymer elastomer between rubber and plastic. TPE is the abbreviation of thermoplastic elastomer.

3. TPE materials can also be modified and remolded with various substrates such as PP, PE, PC, PS, ABS, flame retardants, functional additives, etc., to develop a series of thermoplastic elastomer products.
4. TPE materials have become the main materials for manufacturing consumer electronic wires, and are widely used in the consumer electronics industry, such as manufacturing mobile phone charging cables, data cables, headphone cables, audio cables, etc.
Excellent Elasticity. Due to the particularity of its molecular chain structure, TPE materials can quickly return to their original shape after being stressed and have good resilience, which makes TPE materials perform well in occasions that require elastic support, such as seals, rubber products, etc.
Excellent Wear Resistance. After special treatment, TPE compounds can maintain a good surface state in a friction and wear environment, and are not easy to wear and age, which makes TPE materials have advantages in occasions that require wear resistance, such as automotive parts and engineering machinery accessories.
Good Chemical Corrosion Resistance: TPE can maintain stable performance in an environment with chemical substances such as acids, alkalis, and oils, and is not easily affected by chemical corrosion, which makes TPE materials widely used in occasions that require chemical corrosion resistance, such as chemical pipelines and medical equipment.
Good Processability: TPE can be made into products of various shapes through injection molding, extrusion and other processing processes, with a simple processing process and low cost. Angreen's modified TPE product series (Compounded/Modified TPEs) is a base resin with SEBS/SEPS as the core. According to different application requirements, it can be combined with other different types of resins (PP, PE, PS, PA, etc.), flame retardants, functional additives and other reagents to develop a series of new thermoplastic elastomer products for wires and cables, electronic products, medical supplies, children's toys and other fields.
1. Improve the flame retardant performance of cables
It has obtained UL 94 certification and supports the finished cables to pass the flame retardant test requirements of VW-1 or IEC60332.
2. Improve product weather resistance
According to the requirements of different application environments of customers, it has environmental resistance such as high temperature resistance (150℃), mildew resistance, microbial resistance, oil resistance, etc.
3. Improve product conductivity
For some special applications (such as medical cables), TPE polymer materials are semi-conductively modified to stabilize their surface resistance below 103.
4. Improve product wear resistance
The introduction of rubber functional groups makes the rubber feel more comfortable, softer and more wear-resistant than conventional flame-retardant TPE on the market.
5. Chemical foaming modification
The chemical foaming modification ratio is 0.65-0.70, which meets the application requirements and dosage of marine floating cables.
6. Improve temperature resistance
TPE polymers that have undergone chemical cross-linking or radiation cross-linking can meet high-temperature (125°C temperature resistance grade) flame retardancy and long-term high-temperature aging tests, and have good softness. They are ideal sheath materials for high-voltage cables inside new energy vehicles.
7. Improve weather resistance
For different application requirements such as headphone cables, data cables, and medical equipment cables, improve environmental tolerance such as sweat resistance, oil resistance, mildew resistance, microbial resistance, and UV resistance.
8. Improve processing performance
Research and design for cable extrusion applications, injection molding applications, and rubber coating applications to improve product extrusion rate, injection molding efficiency, rubber coating performance, stability, etc., and truly greatly improve the manufacturing qualification rate of TPE materials.
